About
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a 2-year bachelors degree course. The course is for those people who are aiming to become teachers or work in education industry. A student needs to have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university to pursue B.Ed. course. A B.Ed. course can be availed in both full-time and distance education mode. There are various recognized universities in India which offer a B.Ed. course.

Admission Process
Admission to B.Ed. course is most often done through entrance exams. Certain colleges and universities in India conduct their own entrance exam for B.Ed. admission. The selection is done on the basis of the cut-off lists after B.Ed. Result. Some of the major B.Ed. Entrance Exams are:

✔️ Madhya Pradesh Pre B.Ed.
✔️ Bachelor of Education Entrance Test
After the B.Ed. Results are declared, institutes release their own merit lists on the basis of the students’ performance. Some institutes release different lists for different categories.
Eligibility
🔸 Graduation in any relevant field from a recognized college.
🔹 A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam. (Please note: this varies from college to college)
🔸 Certain universities require a minimum of 55% marks if the student is a post-graduate.
What after B.Ed.?
You can apply for jobs in: schools, colleges, institutes, coaching centers, publishing houses, libraries, etc.
The job profiles are generally: teacher, counsellor, librarian, administrator, researcher, etc.
